Standardized Testing Schedule

►ALL TCCHS students MUST participate in their proper grade level standardized assessments. Student tests include the MSTEP, PSAT, and MME assessments. These paper/pencil and computer assessments will be administered at the Troy Learning Center, 1522 E. Big Beaver Rd., Troy, MI 48083.
►ALL Michigan students are required to participate in these state-mandated assessments. Families can expect more information as the assessments approach during every spring semester. 

►Note: Please come prepared with photo I.D., No. 2 pencils, and calculator.

  State Testing Mandatory
Grades? 6th-11th grade and 12th grade students who didn't test during their junior year.
When? Testing occurs in the spring, generally in April-May. 
Where? Students must be present at the Troy Learning Center for standardized assessments (1522 E. Big Beaver Rd.)
Cost? These are mandatory tests as directed by the State of Michigan. Therefore, there is not a cost for families. However, students may sign up and take additional assessments via the College Board if they would like to take the test again. This will come at a cost for families, as it's outside the district offering.
Test Scores Test scores will be available to families several weeks after the assessment takes place. Scores may be accessed virtually through the College Board website. Please create an account at collegeboard.org if you haven't already. 

Spring 2024 Testing Schedule

When?

April 11 

  • 8th grade PSAT 8/9 - 2.25 hrs
  • 10th grade PSAT 10 – 2.25 hrs 
  • 11th grade ACT WorkKeys (2.75 Hrs) + Science MSTEP (1.5 hrs) 

April 16 

  • 8th grade MSTEP – 2.5 hrs 
  • 9th grade PSAT 8/9 – 2.25 hrs 
  • 11th grade SAT (3 Hrs) + Social Studies MSTEP (1 hr) 

April 30 

  • MSTEP 6 – 2 hrs 
  • MSTEP 7 – 2 hrs 

May 1 

  • MSTEP 6 – 2 hrs 
  • MSTEP 7 – 2 hrs 

**Notice: Students requiring accommodations may have a different testing schedule that will be communicated closer to the testing dates**

**NOTE - All students are automatically signed up for state testing. You do not need to register or pay for a test unless you'd like to take it again after this spring's administration.**
