About our Dual Enrollment Program

Students who attend TCCHS may take college or career certificate courses free of cost, and in many cases, receive reimbursement for books, as well!

While our most common partnerships are with Oakland and Macomb Community Colleges, our students have also attended Baker College and Washtenaw Community College. There are many options, and we can tailor a program that fits your educational needs!

We are Here to Support You Every Step of the Way!

Students begin their college exploration through our College Prep class.  College Prep students learn to make a smooth transition from high school to higher education. Students are guided through all aspects of college learning such as enrollment, scheduling, and time-management. Upon successful completion of College Prep and other TCCHS classes, students may then consider applying for college classes for the next semester.

Students who are enrolled in college classes concurrently take College Seminar at TCCHS. In College Seminar, students receive personal assistance with: class organization, content areas, essay writing, studying, test-taking, educational career planning, applying for scholarships, monitoring of grades, and much more. Additionally, collaboration with their peers allows students to appreciate a totally supportive environment for academic achievement!
