Troy College & Career High School Graduates Honored

June 13, 2018

Celebrating graduation on Wednesday from Troy College & Career High School, many in the Class of 2018 were also honored for individual achievement including awards and scholarships totaling over $12,000 at the school’s annual Senior Recognition last week.

TCCHS students received scholarships from a variety of groups including the Kiwanis Club of Troy, Troy Education Association, Alex & Ani, and many more. The Oscar Hildebrandt Memorial Scholarship and Sharon Alexander Memorial Scholarships were also awarded. Additionally, one student is the recipient of a full scholarship to U of M and another received an athletic scholarship to Delta College.

Many graduates were honored for either having attended college or completed preparation to start classes in the fall though the school’s Dual Enrollment program.

TCCHS assists students in the metro Detroit area in recovering high school credits, prepares them for higher education, and offers dual enrollment opportunities in both traditional college classes and vocational education leading to degrees or certificates.
